
Spooky season is upon us and these Nutter Butter Mummies are the perfect spooky treat! They are such a fun, easy, adorable, and surprisingly delicious dessert. You can’t go wrong with the taste of white chocolate and peanut butter, combined with a smooth, melty, and also crunchy texture. These are perfect a halloween party or just a snack to welcome in the season!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
Servings: 32 mummies
For this Nutter Butter Mummies recipe you will need:
- 1 16 ounce pack of Nutter Butter Cookies – 32 cookies total
- 20 ounces bag of white chocolate chips
- Black decorating icing
How to Make Nutter Butter Mummies:
Step 1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2. Place 18 ounces of white chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, stir the chocolate and microwave in 15 seconds intervals, stirring in between each. Once the chips are almost all of the way melted, remove them from the microwave and stir until fully melted.
Step 3. Push the top and sides of your first nutter butter in the chocolate to coat it and set it on the parchment paper. Repeat with each Nutter Butter until the chocolate is low, but there is still enough left to decorate the tops of the mummies.
Step 4.
Scoop the remaining chocolate into a piping bag and then cut a tiny hole at the end of the bad. Squeeze out the chocolate into zigzag lines from top to bottom at a slight angle onto your first mummy, and then repeat with a slight angle in the other direction. Repeat with all of your mummies.
Step 5.
Use black decorating icing to make 2 small eyes on each mummy.
Step 6. Allow the chocolate to set for around 1 hour, or until fully hardened.

Substitutions:
You may use melting chocolate instead of regular chocolate chips to help with a smooth melting process.
For a peanut-free option, you can use any cookie the is in an oval or rectangle shape and they will turn out great!
Pro Tips:
If you do not have piping bags, no worries! Use a sandwich bag and cut a tony hole into the corner.
Don’t have a sandwich bag? Place a square of plastic wrap into a cup and scoop in the melted chocolate. Twist to seal it and then use a toothpick to poke a little hole at the bottom of the bag.
