There are so many variations of raita that you can make, but this is the raita recipe that I pretty much always use as it is so versatile. It does not have any one flavor that overpowers the other. They all combine together in a really flavorful but not too strong of a way. This makes it a great raita to go as a side to so many different kinds of dishes as it will go well with a lot of different flavors.
Raita is a yogurt based side dish that can be had with a variety of meals such as biryani, pilau, with naan, tandoori chicken, and so much more. It is cooling which can be wonderful if your main dish is especially spicy. You can also mix it with some bites of your main dish to break up the flavor and make it more interesting. Try this easy raita dish as a side to your next Desi meal!
