Easy Raita

This Easy Raita Recipe will be ready in 5 minutes! It is a wonderful, cooling side dish that goes well with so many main Desi dishes. It will compliment the favor while cooling off the spice and providing a nice break in flavor to your main dish!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1/4 of a cucumber - around 1/2 cup when finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon of finely diced white onion
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Spinkle of salt
  • Sprinkle of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Start your raita by prepping your ingredients. Finely chop 1/4 of a cucumber, which should result in about 1/2 of a cup when chopped. You will also finely chop white onion to yield 1 tablespoon and cilantro to yield 1 tablespoon.
  • Add all of your ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
