
This Air Fryer Pizza Eggs and Toast recipe is super simple, incredibly delicious, and a great way to add some variety to your breakfast! It really does taste exactly like the combination of pizza and eggs in toast in the best way. This recipe uses some basic veggies and pepperoni, but you can customize it any way you would like!
I had tried a more basic air fryer eggs and toast before, but I wanted to make it more fun. One morning, the inspiration came to me after having recently made pizza. I still had some leftover pizza sauce and pepperoni, so the idea formed. After experimenting with different air fryer times and temps, I reached what I think is perfection. I love this as a breakfast option when I am wanting some thing easy and a little more savory than usual. Try this out and unlock new flavor possibilities for your breakfast!

This is to make 1 serving. Multiply the quantities if making more.
- 1 slice of bread – This will be your “crust”.
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce – You can use classic or whatever flavoring of sauce you prefer.
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- White onion
- Tomato
- 2 pepperonis
- 3 tablespoons shredded cheese
These are my go-to toppings, but you can mix it up with any veggies and meat you prefer!
How to Make Air Fryer Pizza Eggs and Toast:
Step 1. Take your slice of bread and using your hand or the back of a spoon, push down all in the middle of the bread to make a slight indent for your egg to rest in.

Step 2. Add your 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce and spread over the entire surface of the bread.

Step 3. Crack your egg into the indent of the bread. Use a fork to gently pull apart the thickest part of the egg white. This is an essential step. If this part of the egg white is not thinned out then it will not cook all the way through.

Step 4. Sprinkle your egg with salt and pepper.
Step 5. Cut a small amount of white onion and tomato into small pieces and sprinkle on top of your egg.

Step 6. Cover the top with 3 tablespoons of shredded cheese. If you are wanting to add more cheese than that, see the Pro Tip below to make sure it is still able to cook properly.
Step 7. Cut your 2 pepperoni pieces into quarters and add on top.

Step 8. It is time to air fryer. Place you pizza into the air fryer at 325 for 12 minutes. This will result in a yolk that is slightly runny. You may adjust by a few minute to have your egg be more or less runny. Just be mindful to not end up with the white be undercooked or the top of the pizza egg overcooked.
Pro Tips:
– Extra cheese: Be aware that the more cheese you use, the harder it will be to fully cook the egg white. You will have to air fry for a longer time which may result in the edges of your air fryer pizza being overly crisp. If you are a cheese lover and do want additional cheese, add the amount in the recipe, and then add some more on top in the last few minutes of air frying.
Meal Prepping:
If you are meal prepping for the week, you can chop up any veggies, pepperonis, or other meat you want to use. Assemble and air fry on the day of.
