Air Fryer Pizza Eggs and Toast

An easy and savory air fryer breakfast go-to. Pizza meets classic eggs and toast in this perfect, delicious combinaton.

Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • White onion
  • Tomato
  • 2 pepperonis
  • 3 tablespoons shredded cheese

Instructions
 

  • Push down on the entire inside area of the bread with your hand or the back of a spoon to make a slight indent.
  • Add your 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce and spread over the entire surface of the bread.
  • Crack your egg into the indent of the bread. Use a fork to gently pull apart and thin out the thickest part of the egg white.
  • Sprinkle your egg with salt and pepper.
  • Cut a small amount of white onion and tomato into small pieces and sprinkle on top of your egg.
  • Cover the top with 3 tablespoons of shredded cheese.
  • Cut your 2 pepperoni pieces into quarters and add on top.
  • Place you pizza into the air fryer at 325 for 12 minutes.

Notes

- Extra cheese: Be aware that the more cheese you use, the harder it will be to fully cook the egg white. You will have to air fry for a longer time which may result in the edges of your air fryer pizza being overly crisp. If you are a cheese lover and do want additional cheese, add the amount in the recipe, and then add some more on top in the last few minutes of air frying.
