In a medium sized bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.
In a separate, small bowl, us a fork to mash up bananas until you have 3/4 cup. Add in 1 egg and 3/4 cup of milk and thoroughly mix together. It will be slightly lumpy from the bananas. Add this batter to the dry mix and mix just until combined.
Put a large pan or griddle on medium heat.
Put 1/2 cup of chocolate chips onto a cutting board and cut them into smaller pieces. Fold the chocolate into the batter.
Once the the pan or griddle is hot, use a 1/3 measuring cup to scoop circles of batter onto the pan or griddle. Leave some space in between them. In 2-3 minutes, once the edges have some bubbles and the bottom is turning golden, flip the pancakes. Allow them to to cook on the other side for another 2-3 minutes before transferring to a plate.
Serve with some melted butter, banana slices on top, and maple syrup.Enjoy!
