Easy Peel Hard Boiled Eggs

A great method for making hardboiled eggs that are easy to peel. The shell practically falls off!

Ingredients
  

  • Water
  • Pinch of salt
  • Eggs
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Fill a large pot with 3 inches of room temperature water and a pinch of salt. Set on high heat and cover until it is boiling.
  • Once boiling, carefully lower your desired number of eggs into the pot.
  • Cover and boil for 6-12 minutes based on how cooked you want them (see guide below).
  • Prep a bowl with water and ice.
  • Transfer your eggs to the ice water and leave for about 10 minutes or until eggs have fully cooled.
    Enjoy an easy peel!

Notes

A great way to peel the shell it to tap/crack the egg on each end, roll it firmly on a counter to crack evenly, and then peel.
6 minutes: Soft boiled
8-10 minutes: Medium boiled
12 minutes: Hard boiled
